Why Taste of Thai closed
Taste of Thai stopped serving on August 1, 2024, when building problems shut the whole building on University Boulevard South. The restaurant's own notice at the time blamed roof damage made worse by heavy rain, the Jax Daily Record reported. In a later letter on its website, the owner wrote that the cost to reopen was too high without help from the landlord, and the site now says the closing is permanent.
